Exposition

Today, through researching on the net, I found out that "Exposition" is a form of literature writing with the intent to inform, explain and elaborate on a particular subject of the writer's choice in a way that is comprehensive and expressive enough to let the reader feel as if he/she were there in the story. The subjects that the writer is trying to discuss are usually told to the reader mainly by indirectly describing about the subjects and not explicitly describing the subjects. Even tough there seem to be some other meanings to the word, I chose this definition as it is the most appropriate to the context in my opinion.
